PHASE I POWER GRID IMPROVEMENT PLAN
PHASE I – CANYON ROAD TO TAYLOR:
To meet the growing needs of our communities, SUVPS is launching Phase I of the Power Grid Improvement Program. This project will upgrade an existing high-voltage transmission line along:
• Canyon Road
• 400 South
• Scenic Drive
• Arrowhead Trail
• Del Monte Road
• 900 South
The upgraded line will connect to a new
electric substation west of I-15 in Spanish
Fork.

KEY IMPROVEMENTS:
- Replacing older wooden power poles with
durable steel poles for greater resilience. - Relocating existing power poles from
resident backyards to the street where
possible. - Replacing conductor and hardware to
support electrical requirements. - Construction emphasis:
- Minimizing disruptions by repairing
landscaping within the easement area
after construction. - Using the latest construction technologies to protect the surrounding environment while ensuring reliable energy delivery.
